The Saudi Standards ,Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has adopted the International Standard IEC 60238 Ed8.1/2008 "EDISON SCREW LAMPHOLDERS" issued by the International Electro technical Commission (IEC). It has been adopted without any technical modifications with a view to its approval as a Saudi standard.
